No computer week

I just blocked out the dates of May 25 through May 31 as “NO COMPUTER WEEK” on my calendar. I’ve been spending so much time with my computer – writing papers, reading articles, Twittering (ack), researching, reading blog and news feeds, downloading podcasts and videos, really just absorbing information like there’s no tomorrow – but I NEED a break. So once school’s finished and the family visit is done, my lovely laptop is going to live in the closet for a week. And I am going to play my new guitar, read books, go to the park, and cook. I think I’ll even put my email on auto-respond. It will actually work out really nicely because I’m not even scheduled for TOEFL grading that week, so it’s going to be a seriously extremely totally computer-free week.
