I’ve been trying to (re-)organize all the photos on my computer, and I’ve decided to start using Picasa-the-program as well as Picasa-the-online-album for doing it. In the process I’ve discovered a lot of photos I really like, including this one of a lei my parents gave me when I graduated last month:
I tried Flickr for a while but liked Picasaweb better too. I’ve just started using Adobe Lightroom to process my photos — much more powerful than Picasa (the program). And it has a plugin to allow automatic uploads to Picasaweb, which I have to try today. … Price is expensive, though about $100 to get the full version for a student.

Thanks, Aaron! Yeah, with the thoughts about a new camera, I’m starting to look at photo software too – I know a lot of people on Macs use Aperture but I’ll probably need to investigate some more…
